Ever wonder what do I have to do to be successful? I don’t know about you, but I don’t know very many people who don’t want the rewards that comes along with being successful. Truth be told, many would kill for fame, the fortune, the congratulations and even the occasional hater comes with success.
The world would have you think all you have to do is WANT something long enough, pray about it hard enough and you'll get it.
Don’t believe it! It’s a trick to keep you from your destiny and purpose.
Here are a few things you must do to achieve more success.
The 1st rule to being successful at anything is - YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING! You must go from just “WANTING” success to instead “WORKING” for success. The results you want in your business, in your life, your finances, relationships, your weight won’t just happen on their own. Things won’t fall from heaven like manna from the sky.
I hear someone saying, “favor ain’t fair!” Yeah, but it’s also not free. Favor has a price and it’s called obedience. You are obligated to do everything you can to meet your destiny.
You’ve got to nurture, build put in some effort to achieve the results you want. If it doesn’t take much and it’s free, it probably not worth very much.
The 2nd rule for success is to discover from other successful people the “right” things to do. The Michael Jordan’s, the Oprah’s and the Bill Gates of the world didn’t get there alone. They used work, ideas and strategies other people created and applied those principles.
People who are unsuccessful in reaching their goals somehow think they have to “figure it out on their own” or “they have to do it their way.” High achievers understand that it makes more sense to start with what works and make it better.
It saves time, money, effort and unnecessary heartache. Instead of doing it your way, try doing it way the market wants and are willing to pay for it.
The 3rd rule of success is to be consistent and persistent in doing the “right” things. An old saying goes, “you can’t make a baby in 4 1/2 months by trying twice as hard.”
You must consistently do the right things to get the results you want. Set high standards for yourself and those working with you. Develop systems so you can get the results you want each time.
Strive to meet the mark everyday, every time. When you don’t feel like it, persist and push when times get hard. Challenging times come with any worthwhile goal.
That's how you get stronger. It’s just the world way of testing to see if you really “WANT” it and if you’re willing to “WORK” to have it.
